USSSA prescribes to the practices outlined by the International Olympic Committee medical code (“Code”) to
- Recognize the primacy of athletes’ health
- Advocate medical best practices
- Protect the rights of athletes as patients
- Ensure compliance with medical ethics
The Code applies to all USSSA sanctioned events and applies equally to training and competition.
