Wasit/juri training – East Coast

Our east coast wasit/juri training session will be located in Vermont.  Training will include both instruction on Tanding and Tunggal, along with some mock sessions on Sunday.  After completion of the training you will be able to perform as wasit or juri in our US based competitions and will receive the following:

• Uniform
• Jurus Tunggal video
• Powerpoint deck on Jurus Tunggal
• Wasit/juri passport (tracks work as wasit/juri)
• Certificate

Day 1

8:00AM-10:00AM – Handout technical manuals.  Interactive presentation session to review all the rules and divisions in handbook  for tanding (sparring).
10:00AM-10:20AM – break and snack
10.20AM-12:00PM – Continue presentation.  Review all material up to Jurus judging.
12:00AM-1:00PM – lunch
1.00:PM-3.00PM Interactive Session: How to lead as a wasit (referee) including sign language and langkah (footwork)
3:00-5:00 Mock simulation: Refereeing tanding
5.00-6:30 Dinner
6:30-9:00 Understanding correct jurus motions and judging criteria

8.00AM-10.00PM – Mock simulation: Refereeing and judging tanding including example case studies
10.00AM-10:20PM – Break
10:20AM-12:00PM – Mock simulation: Jurus
12:00PM -1:00PM lunch
1:00PM-3:00PM Questions and evaluation

3:30PM-4:00PM Graduation
