General Info
The 2019 USA Pencak Silat National Championships will be held July 13 and 14th in Loveland, CO at First National Bank Exhibition Center @ The Ranch. Pencak Silat is a martial art and sport hailing from parts of Southeast Asia including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei known for its unique combination of skill, speed, power, technique and grace. This art has been featured in Hollywood films such as John Wick 3, The Accountant and Mile 22 as well as International films including The Raid 1 & 2, Merantau and Ong Bak 2.
This event is the first internationally sanctioned national tournament in the United States. Athletes from across the country will be competing in a variety of sparring and performing arts events for the gold and for a chance to represent the United States in international competition.

The date and venue have been set! The USSSA cordially invites you to participate in the USA Pencak Silat National Championship 2019 in Loveland, Colorado on July 13-14, 2019.
As USSSA builds Pencak Silat nationally, this event is open to all participants from all regions. This competition will feature both youth (USA-JUNIOR, ages 10-16) and adult (SENIOR, ages 17-35) classes.
Primary event categories include tanding (sparring) and tunggal (solo forms performance). Depending on the interest of the competitors we hope to also host an exhibition Ganda (choreographed pairs) event.
National demo team:
USSSA will be forming a national demo team. There is no age requirement and you must have at least two participants from your school. USSSA will provide a training video and a seminar, date TBD, will be scheduled to allow the national demo team to practice together.
Fees:
General Admission: $10
Tournament Fee: $75 (USSSA membership also required)
USSSA Membership Card: $75 (can be purchased at any time, also provides general admission to non-competitors)
Membership:
A sports physical must be completed before applying for membership. Submit the form from your doctor when applying. To verify age USSSA will need a copy of a birth certificate for minors or a government issued ID (with a DOB) for adults.
Registration and Payment:
We are requesting all potential competitors to fill out the pre-registration form. This will give us an estimate of the number of athletes and the distribution across events. Registrations are due by June 1, 2019!
